When Curiosity Opens the Door
An Introduction to Pranic Healing with Global Travellers
Leh, Ladakh
Every journey carries unexpected encounters.
Some happen on mountain passes.
Some over a shared meal.
And every now and then, they begin with a simple question.
“What is Pranic Healing?”
That afternoon in Leh, a small group of travellers from different parts of the world gathered with little more than curiosity. Some had noticed a poster. Others had heard about the session from fellow travellers. A few admitted they had walked in simply because they wanted to discover something they had never encountered before.
The conversation began exactly where it needed to.
“What is Prana?”
The questions flowed naturally.
“Can we really feel energy?”
“What are chakras?”
“How can healing take place without physical touch?”
“Is this connected to Buddhism?”
There were no hurried answers.
Each question opened the door to another conversation.
Together, we explored the principles of Pranic Healing, the body’s energy system and the role of the chakras in supporting our physical, emotional and mental well-being. We spoke about the life force that has been recognised by cultures across the world for centuries, each describing it in its own way. For many sitting in that room, these ideas were completely new.
You could almost see curiosity unfolding.
Someone leaned forward to ask another question.
Someone paused quietly, reflecting on an idea they had never considered before.
Someone smiled as a new understanding connected with an experience they had carried for years.
The room slowly transformed.
It was no longer simply an introduction to Pranic Healing.
It had become a shared exploration of life, energy and the remarkable capacity of the human body to heal.
That is one of the unexpected gifts of travelling.
We leave home hoping to discover new places.
Sometimes we also discover new ways of looking at ourselves.
As the afternoon drew to a close, nobody seemed eager to leave.
Small conversations continued around the room.
Books were recommended.
Stories from distant journeys were exchanged.
Plans for tomorrow’s adventures found their way into the conversation as naturally as the questions that had filled the afternoon.
Looking back at that gathering, I remember a room filled with thoughtful questions, genuine curiosity and people discovering Pranic Healing for the very first time.
It wasn’t about having every answer.
It was about opening a door.
Sometimes that is all a new journey needs.
